This year, ITAMCO welcomed talented interns in Engineering, Business, IT/Cybersecurity, and Software Development. Their fresh ideas and hard work strengthened our operations, improved our systems, and enriched our culture.

2026 ITAMCO Interns
Hear about their experiences and learn more about their accomplishments.

Taylor Delp
Management Intern
Taylor returned to ITAMCO as third year intern. In reflection, she remarked on how valuable each experience has been to her professional growth. Taylor appreciated the opportunity to work with almost every department and see the entire manufacturing process.
As a senior at Bethel University studying Marketing, Taylor’s long-term goals are to own her own pottery business and coach volleyball. This summer, she grew in both her people and professional skills. She acknowledges that in certain environments, she could be shy, but by the end of the summer, she loved walking through the shop, catching up with the people that she had worked with and built relationships with (especially with Brent and Donnie!).
Taylor also discovered how much she enjoys helping people get organized by creating systems that make their jobs easier. Being able to jump in wherever she was needed and help different teams made her internship especially meaningful.

Logan Faulstich
QuPID Developer Intern
Logan Faulstich was a first-year intern for ITAMCO and came on the recommendation of his cousin Andrew who interned with ITAMCO the year prior. When Logan reflected on his experience, he expressed that the internship at ITAMCO gave him valuable experience working in a professional programming environment and showed him what it’s like to apply what he has learned in the real world.
As a Computer Science graduate from Purdue Fort Wayne, Logan is working toward a career in video game design or computer networking. However, this summer, via the internship, Logan also discovered an interest in graphic web design. One of his favorite parts of the internship was the intern lunches—they were a great opportunity to learn from the topics presented while connecting and sharing ideas with the other interns and the ITAMCO team.

William Kingston
Engineering Intern
Will Kingston is also returned for third year as an ITAMCO intern. In his internship reflection and final presentation, Will expressed that his internship at ITAMCO gave him the opportunity to grow both technically and professionally.
As an incoming graduate student at The University of Alabama pursuing my M.S. in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics, he is still exploring and narrowing down his career path, but his summer experience reinforced his interest in an environment like ITAMCO, where he could be involved in many different aspects of the shop.
One of the biggest takeaways for Will was the development of his leadership skills by working with and mentoring newer interns. He also appreciated the freedom to solve problems independently, knowing there were often multiple ways to approach a challenge rather than following a strict set of instructions.

Braden Krom
Engineering Intern
Braden was a first year intern at ITAMCO. He appreciated his internship because it helped him gain a deeper understanding of manufacturing operations and precision CNC machining while helping him grow in an engineering environment.
As he heads into his junior year at Purdue University studying Mechanical Engineering Technology with minors in Design and Innovation and Product Lifecycle Management, his ITAMCO experience helped him narrow down my career goals in the precision CNC medical manufacturing field. Braden was especially grateful for the opportunities he was given at ITAMCO to develop professional and industry skills that will carry with him throughout his career.

Caden Large
Engineering Intern
Caden is unique in that he was High School Intern with ITAMCO the previous year. During that experience Caden got to learn important CNC operator skills in ITAMCO’s Grinding Department. Caden was encouraged to return to ITAMCO after his freshmen year of college, and we are glad he did.
In Caden’s reflection he shared appreciation for just how much his internship helped him grow both technically and professionally. As he heads into his sophomore year at Trine University pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he has been able to strengthen his skills in CAD, programming, machine operation, teamwork, communication, and problem solving.
This summer also showed him that he really enjoys the challenge of taking on a new project and having the freedom to find his own solution. One of his favorite parts of his ITACMO internship was the variety and diversity of projects. He believes his internship gave him valuable experience and a solid foundation, as he works toward becoming a mechanical engineer.”

Beck Magee
QuPID Developer Intern
As returning intern, Beck reflected that his internship at ITAMCO has helped him strengthen his problem-solving skills and expand his understanding of software infrastructure. As a rising junior at Purdue University, Beck decided to change his major to Industrial Engineering.
The ITAMCO experience reinforced that he enjoys tackling complex problems. Beck has built-up problem-solving resiliency and a “won’t quit” attitude until he finds a solution thanks to his internship projects. One of the things he appreciated most is how much ITAMCO interns can “actually” contribute to company by working on projects that directly impact employees and the production.
These types of real impact projects made his experience both meaningful and rewarding. Beck is looking forward to taking the next step in professional journey by continuing to work toward finishing his undergrad and then pursuing graduate school.

Carly Schmid
QuPID Developer Intern
Carly’s internship at ITAMCO has given her the chance to grow both technically and personally. As she heads into her fourth year at Purdue University studying Computer Engineering with a concentration in Software Engineering, she is still exploring her career path. As of now Carly’s plan is to continue onto graduate school after undergrad.
When Carly reflected on her experience this summer, she talked about gaining confidence working with JavaScript and C#, and she learned that new challenges are often much less intimidating once you dive in and work through them. One of the most rewarding parts of the ITAMCO internship for Carly was seeing the code she wrote was being utilized by the employees.
Carly also reflected on just how much she grew in her coding and problem-solving skills from her first project to her last.
