A Place to Create
Every person at ITAMCO creates amazing things. From powering renewable energy through advanced manufacturing to developing advanced software that helps the U.S. government and enterprise operate more efficiently, it all begins with an idea. Our job is to turn it into reality.
We Collaborate
Our strength lies in the willingness to engage others in collaborative learning. We keep open minds and are always searching for best practices. We understand our limitations. Actively engaging technology and industry consortiums gives ITAMCO the technical expertise required to adapt to rapidly changing markets. Partnering with universities and governmental research institutes leads to better outcomes for our customers and communities.
Recognized for Innovation by LIFT Network
The South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership and the University of Notre Dame launched the LIFT Network & iNDustry Labs with support from the Lilly Endowment to advance R&D, workforce training, and industry collaboration. Craftsmanship with Character
ITAMCO participates in the Craftsmanship with Character Student Program designed to promote workforce readiness. The program brings together paid high school interns from local high schools, supported by dedicated ITAMCO mentors.
The program combines daily hands-on experience in production, quality, and maintenance with weekly classroom sessions to build real-world skills and develop the next generation of professionals.

ITAMCO Manufacturing Education Center
ITAMCO partnered with Plymouth Schools and Ivy Tech Community College to offer precision manufacturing training. ITAMCO donated equipment and technical expertise to the program with a goal of helping to combat the skills gap and helping to develop the local workforce.

Summer Internships
ITAMCO’s summer internship program, in partnership with the South Bend | Elkhart Regional Partnership, offers paid opportunities for college students to gain hands-on experience aligned with their field of study.
Interns contribute across engineering, software development, and business operations, culminating in a capstone presentation that showcases their projects and learning. ITAMCO accepts intern applications from January through March.
